摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device realizing a large number of channels by as small as a number of antennas when performing digital multi-beam formation from a reflected wave of a transmitted electric wave, allowing miniaturization and reduction of cost, and allowing shortening of a processing time and improvement of performance. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission signal is transmitted from one of the antennas A1-A4 used for both transmission and reception in common at a prescribed period, and the reflected wave of the transmitted electric wave is received by each the antenna. A reception signal is transmitted to a signal processing controller 1, and is DBF-processed. The antenna A1-A4 changed over between the transmission and the reception by a changeover means 5 are disposed at a ratio of an interval between two adjacent antennas and an interval between the other two adjacent antennas of 1:2, and 11 channels are realized in a space corresponding to six antennas by four antennas. When selectively receiving only an odd-numbered reception channel among the 11 channels and performing the DBF, direction detection can be speeded up. When performing division into the right and left channels and performing the DBF two times, accuracy of the direction detection can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
