IP TELEPHONE AND CALLING METHOD USING IP TELEPHONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify calling operation of a user by omitting specification of an area code at the time of calling through an IP network. SOLUTION: A dial number determination section 202 determines whether a dial number specified by a user includes an area code or not. If that dial number does not include the area code, a call number generating section 204 generates a calling number by adding the area code of a place where the calling IP telephone 101 is set, stored in an area code storage section 203, to the dial number.
