PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake pad to be reasonably inhibited from being warped in the direction of the plate thickness by friction heat. SOLUTION: The disc brake pad 1 comprises a friction material 2 to be put in slide contact with a disc to produce braking force and a back plate 3 for supporting the friction material 2 at its back face. To inhibit the pad 1 from being warped in the direction of the plate thickness by the friction heat generated in putting the friction material in slide contact with the disc, the back plate 3 has a reinforcing part 3b for reinforcing the back plate 3 throughout the outer peripheral edge of the back face.
