PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden on the control pertaining to the transmission or reception of signals between the game control board and the prize ball control board in a pinball game machines while a bidirectional communication circuit is built for comminication between the game control board and the prize ball control board by backing up the the game state against the power failure. SOLUTION: The game control board is provided with a power failure detection means, a means for storing the game state and a memory preservation power source. An individual memory preservation power source other than that provided on the game control board is provided on the prize ball control board, whereas the bidirectional communication circuit is built for communication between the game control board and the prize ball control board. The prize ball control board transmits the data for informing the control state pertaining to the prize balls to the game control board while refusing the transmission of the reception confirmation signal for the data indicating the number of prize balls to be put out to the game control board, though under the bidirectional communication circuit.
