<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice-controllable remote control transmitter in which operations due to a manual control means and a voice control means can be switched as a means for operating ON of an illuminator, the control means can be selected in accordance with a purpose of use for a user, further, the control means can be selected by freely turning an enclosure of a transmission element part comprising an LED transmission element, further, turning the transmission element part toward a main body of the illuminator and optimal directional characteristics can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: An enclosure 2 of a main body of the remote control transmitter comprises an audio signal identification device including a control button 6 as a manual control means and a voice input part (microphone) 5 as a voice control means, further, a changeover switch 7 is provided for selecting any one of the control means and in the voice control means, a voice inputted from the voice input part (microphone) 5 is transmitted as a light pulse from an LED transmission element 4 of an optical remote control transmission device via the audio signal identification device.
