<p>The invention relates to a security module comprising a microprocessor, a program memory containing at least one operational program and a unique module-identification means. The security module is characterised in that the identification means comprises a unique, dummy set of computer codes, which is compatible with the execution thereof by the microprocessor of the module and which is stored in the program memory. The invention also relates to a method of customising a security module using a unique identifier, said module comprising a microprocessor and a program memory containing at least one operational program. The inventive method is characterised in that it comprises steps consisting in generating a unique set of computer codes, known as dummy computer codes, and writing said set of codes into the program memory at specific memory locations.</p> |
