In a device for reversing the steering movement of a steering wheel shaft 11 of a vehicle, a further movement is superimposed on the steering movement by a planetary gear system 3-6. This makes it possible to retain the same setting of the steering wheel 1 when turning in reverse as when driving forwards and turning. The vehicle may be a tracked vehicle. Power assistance from an electrical or hydraulic motor typically provides the superimposed movement via a worm 8 driving a worm gear 7. The device typically comprises a planetary gear 4, a carrier 2, a sun gear 3 and a ring gear 6. |
