PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system which distributes information which a user desires, and makes the user understand arrival at a destination in a state in which the user is reproducing contents of the information. SOLUTION: A user terminal device 2 transmits a request for content information and alighting of the user which gets on a transport means and carries the user terminal device 2, to a server device 1. The server device 1 reads out and distributes content information stored in a storage part 12, to the user terminal device 2 in response to the received request for content information. A control part 16 of the server device 1 manages approach to the user's destination on the basis of location information received from a vehicle terminal device 3 provided in the transport means and the received alighting information and terminates streaming distribution of prescribed content information in response to detecting approach to the destination. Since content distribution is automatically terminated in the vicinity of the destination, the user of the user terminal device 2 cannot miss an alighting sign in the vicinity of the destination.
