The follower has main and optional coupling auxiliary levers (2, 3), where the lever (2) has an arrangement for a charge cycle shuttle valve and a complementary surface for a supporting unit. The levers (2, 3) have retainers aligned to each other in a cam base circle for coupling, and a slide valve is arranged in one of the retainers. The adjustment of the retainers is realized to each other over internal load-securing device (12). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing of a cam follower.
