摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping system of a railway vehicle capable of changing the stop and the start of the control of the damping force according to the speed. SOLUTION: The vibration damping system of the roll of a railway vehicle in which a semi-active damper is interposed between a truck and a vehicle body to control the damping force of the semi-active damper according to the roll of the vehicle body comprises a speed detection switch 11 to be turned on/off according to the increase of the speed above the set value (230 Km/h), an analog signal circuit 10 to increase/decrease the voltage as the speed detection switch 11 is turned on/off, and a control means (CPU 17) which determines whether or not the voltage of the analog input signal to be input in an A/D converter 16 from the analog signal circuit 10 is dropped below the first threshold (1.5V) or the voltage of the analog input signal is increased above the second threshold (3.5V) to change the stop and the start of the control of the damping force of the semi-active dampers 3, 4. The stop and the start of the control of the damping force are not changed even when the voltage of the analog input signal is increased/decreased between the first threshold (1.5V) and the second threshold (3.5V).
