PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary switch setting discrimination circuit not requiring any judgment by the software inside a CPU, reducing the occupation number of input port of the CPU in accordance with an effective setting range of the rotary switch. SOLUTION: In the rotary switch setting discrimination circuit, contacts 13, 14 related to ineffective setting of the rotary switch 10 are connected so as to be located on a anode side, and contacts 11, 12, related to effective setting, and input ports P3, P3 related to effective setting of the CPU 20 are connected so as to be located on a cathode side; and diodes 41, 42, 43, 44, turning the voltage of the input port P4, P3 of the CPU 20 into low level regardless of the state of the contacts on the other side, when either the contacts 11, 12 related to effective setting of the rotary switch 10 or the contacts 13, 14 related to ineffective setting of the rotary switch 10 is turned on, are provided.
