PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visually evaluate a candidate route when the route is searched. SOLUTION: This guide system has an information acquisition processing means for acquiring a map data; a route search processing means for searching a plurality of routes from a start point to a destination as the candidate routes, based on the map data; a congestion determination processing means for judging the presence of congestion in each of the candidate routes, on the basis of a prescribed determination condition; and an intensification displaying processing means for intensification displaying the candidate routes where the presence of the congestion is determined. The candidate route is visually evaluated because the plurality of routes are searched, and because the candidate routes where the presence of the congestion is determined are displayed intensifiedly.
