PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bent type holder which improves productivity and facilitates manufacture of a product given environmental consideration and which is of low cost and inexpensive, and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The front part 2 of the bent type holder 1 formed in a flat developed shape and the back part 3, the upper-side part 4, the folded-back part 5 and the lower-side part 6 thereof are bent along the upper and lower edge parts of a sheetlike indicating object A placed at the front part 2 (or the back part 3) and the sheetlike indicating object A is held by the front part 2 and the back part 3 between, so as to manufacture the holder. After the sheetlike indicating object A is extracted from between the front part 2 and the back part 3, on the occasion of assembly, the folded-back part 5 of the front part 2 is engaged with support legs 9, 9 formed in the back part 3, and assembled, and the sheetlike indicating object A held in a holding part B is prevented from slipping off by slipping-off preventing pieces 7, 7 of the front part 2.
