PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface magnet type magnetic field rotor and a motor utilizing it which prevent a magnetic circuit characteristic from degrading, prevent a surface of the magnet from generating a damage such as a flaw, and are easily manufactured. SOLUTION: The surface magnet type magnetic field rotor is provided with a rotor core 32 having grooves 38 with projections on a circumferential wall, and a plurality of the permanent magnets 34 fixed to the circumferential wall of the rotor core 32. A resin molded member 36 has a fixing section provided with a slit in the projection direction and having a projection outwardly projected perpendicular to the projection direction, and is used for an engagement of the projection of the fixing section and the projection provided in the groove 38 of the rotor core 32. The surface magnet type magnetic field rotor is constituted by pressing the permanent magnets 34 to the circumferential wall of the rotor core 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
