<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypeptide effective for controlling lipid and glucose metabolism by controlling PPAR (peroxisome proliferator activated receptor) activity and a medicinal composition containing the polypeptide. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides an isolated polypeptide not reducing leukotriene B4, but reducing 15-ketoprostaglandin and having a specific sequence or its functional equivalent and a double stranded ribonucleic acid (dsRNA) for inhibiting expression of 15-ketoprostaglandin-▵13-reductase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
