<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to improve memory efficiency in a printing device and perform a printing process rapidly. <P>SOLUTION: In the first half of the printing process in which an image is rendered according to printing data, it is judged whether this image is a color image (S403), referring to additional data put to the printing data (S402).
