PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally set a guard lock and a main lock in a lock box. SOLUTION: A locking device for a fitting comprises a slide plate having a guard bolt which is pushed ahead by a guard bolt engaging part of a drive member and is engaged with a guard arm, a dead bolt which is pushed ahead by a dead bolt engaging part of the drive member and is engaged with a strike, a hook dead which is journaled to a lock box, rotates according to a forward movement of the dead bolt and is latched to the strike, and an urging means which always urges the dead bolt in the retreating direction. The urging means is journaled between the drive member disposed on one side of the dead bolt and an engaging part for the dead bolt disposed on the other side of the dead bolt in a manner that the engaging part is engaged with the engaged part of the dead bolt.
