<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an image forming apparatus in which an ejecting section is formed above a belt, by efficiently disposing an electrical substrate in an empty space within the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: To solve the above-described problem, the typical configuration of the image forming apparatus according to the invention includes: photoreceptor drums 10 on which toner images are formed; a belt 2 disposed above the photoreceptor drums 10; a transfer means 20 for transferring the toner images at least on the corresponding photoreceptor drums 10 onto the belt 2; and an ejection tray 7 disposed above the belt 2 and used for ejecting sheets onto it, wherein between the ejection tray 7 and the belt 2 is arranged the electrical substrate 31 for applying a transfer bias to the transfer means 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
