<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating sewage capable of stably and efficiently carrying out dephosphorization and denitrification, and preventing emission of phosphorus from removed sludge. <P>SOLUTION: The sewage is received in an oxygen-free tank 3 to carry out oxygen-free treatment, the outflow water from the oxygen-free tank 3 and a part of the sewage are introduced into an anaerobic tank 2 to carry out anaerobic treatment, and the outflow water from the anaerobic tank 2 is introduced into an aerobic tank 4 to carry out aerobic treatment. Permeated water of a membrane separator 9 provided in the aerobic tank 4 is withdrawn as treated water. A part of activated sludge in the aerobic tank 4 and a nitrifying liquid are recirculated to the oxygen-free tank 3. Excess sludge removed from the aerobic tank 4 is supplied to a dewaterer 12 through a storage tank 11 which is kept in an aerobic condition and dewatered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
