COMPOUND FOR TREATMENT OF FSD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a female suffering from female sexual dysfunction (FSD), in particular female sexual arousal dysfunction (FSAD). SOLUTION: The method comprises delivering to the female with FSD, especially FSAD an agent that is capable of potentiating cAMP in the genital organs, wherein the agent is delivered in an amount capable of inducing potentiation of cAMP in the genital organs of the female. The agent is an inhibitor of NEP (neutral endopeptidase) (I:NEP) and is optionally mixed with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, diluent or excipient. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
