PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncher which can positively form a stitching hole with small force. SOLUTION: The puncher forms the stitching hole p by pinching paper P or the like between a male blade 11 and a female blade 21, and fitting the former and the latter to each other. The puncher is comprised of an elastic member 4 which abuts on an area near a stitching hole forming portion p1 prior to the fitting of the male blade 11 and the female blade 21, and presses the area near the stitching hole forming portion p1 at the time of fitting, to thereby prevent the area near the stitching hole forming portion p1 from being drawn into the female blade 21.
