<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable supply of a coating liquid to an applying body by the pressure of application, while preventing dripping of ink, and to enable conduction of the ink to the tip of the applying body in a short time on the occasion of starting writing. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid applicator is equipped with the applying body movable forward and backward, a valve mechanism part provided in the rear of the applying body and always closed by the pressing force of a coil spring and a main body container provided further in the rear of the valve mechanism part and holding the coating liquid inside. The valve mechanism part is opened and the coating liquid is made possible to supply from the tip side of the main body container to the applying body side, on the occasion when the applying body is moved backward against the pressing force of the coil spring by the pressure of application in writing. In an ink flow path formed between the internal hole part of the liquid applicator and the outer peripheral part of the applying body, a prescribed length of the path in front of the portion where the valve mechanism part is opened or closed and a prescribed length of the path on the side where the applying body projects from the front end of the liquid applicator are made narrow, while an ink reserving path being wide appropriately is formed in the middle of the flow path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
