<p>The invention relates to a road safety barrier comprising, by way of protective sections, rounded plastic tubular elements (1) which are elastic and flexible, but which offer high resistance to medium- and low-intensity impacts. According to the invention, transverse shock-absorbing means, comprising powerful springs (3), are inserted between vertical support posts (2) and the tubular elements (1), thereby providing the barrier assembly with a high shock-absorbing power and forming an impact absorption means which is extremely useful in the event of a motorcycle impact in order to prevent cuts and other injuries and to limit the effects of the impact. The tubular elements (1) also rest on intermediate support legs (6) comprising bolts which extend vertically through said tubular elements and which are connected thereto. The aforementioned support legs are formed by two segments that are connected with a silent block which enables the angular deformation of the vertical leg (6) upon impact with motorcycle riders.</p> |
