PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition while achieving a good bonding property with a metal, having both of a high heat-aging resistance and high temperature physical characteristics (tensile characteristic) after its vulcanization as compared with those of conventional technologies. SOLUTION: This rubber composition obtained by blending a tetrakis(acetylacetonate)zirconium complex and neodecanoic acid cobalt with a rubber component consisting of at least 1 kind of a diene-based rubber is characterized by having 0.11-0.46 pt. wt. total blending amount of the tetrakis(acetylacetonate)zirconium complex and neodecanoic acid cobalt based on the metal elements, based on 100 pts. wt. rubber component, and also (60/40)-(20/80) weight ratio of the blended amount based on the metal element of the tetrakis(acetylacetonate)zirconium complex to the blended amount based on the metal element of the neodecanoic acid cobalt.
