<p>It is intended to, through preparation of a cellular gene expression profile from an extremely small number of cells, realize application to pathological samples, microtissues, microanimals, etc. whose handling has been infeasible because of a limited sample amount and further realize a gene expression profile as to cells of peripheral blood for use in pathological diagnosis, etc. There is provided a method attaining improvement to the high coverage expression profiling analysis (HiCEP) disclosed in the pamphlet of WO 02/48352, characterized in that the amount of mRNA contained in a starting material is increased through obtaining amplified RNA complementary to double strand cDNA sequence by the action of RNA polymerase, and that the number of double strand cDNAs having an X primer and Y primer added thereto is increased by the use of PCR.</p> |
