PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding-type screen that ensures height corresponding to a leg by allowing a screen cloth to be pulled independently out lengthwise and is sufficiently convenient to carry and store by omitting the leg, thereby reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: The folding-type screen is designed, such that a screen cloth 12, which is pulled out upwards from a rolled state and is always elastically pressed so as to be wound up, is stored in a laterally long case 11 that is open at the top. The folding-type screen is also designed such that the state of the screen cloth 12 pulled out is held by a pantograph mechanism 13, extendable following the pulling out of the cloth 12. The pantograph mechanism 13 is formed from a main pantograph frame 15 whose lower-end pivotal attachment point is pivotally attached to the case 11; a pair of hold levers 16, right and left ones, attached to a lower part of the main pantograph frame 15; and an extension pantograph frame 17, attached to an upper part of the main pantograph frame 15 so as to be extended or shortened.
