PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat for a two-wheeled vehicle capable of seating a child stably without intercepting the view field of the rider in case it is set in the front of the two-wheeled vehicle, equipped with an enhanced ahead protecting function for the child seated, and serving as an upper body back support or a head rest for a grown child so as to allow him to extend his knees forward in case this is set in the rear of the two-wheeled vehicle. SOLUTION: A guard member 8 is installed on a seat 1 furnished with a seating part 3 whereon a child is seated, a rear wall 4, and a left and a right side wall 5 and structured so that the parts front and over of the seating part 3 are opened, in such a way that the position can be changed over between the condition in which a leg extend part 7 to allow a child seated on the seating part 3 to extend his legs is formed by the back of a wall 8a, under a left and a right supporting arm 8b, ahead of the left and right side walls 5 of the seat 1, and over the seating part 3 of the seat 1 and also the wall 8a protects the front part of the child in the condition that the wall 8a is positioned ahead of the seat 1 and the condition in which the left and right supporting arms 8b are overlapped on the left and right side walls 5 of the seat 1 in the condition that the wall is positioned behind the seat 1 and the wall 8a serves as an upper body back support or head rest for the child seated.
