PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large quantity of extremely thin cut slice pieces with set thickness kept constant. SOLUTION: In this slicer, a comma-shaped bead form cutter 2 is used. An encoder 4 is mounted on a cutter shaft 3 for rotating the cutter 2 in one direction at the time of a slice operation and a pulse signal transmitted by the encoder 4 is transmitted to a sequencer 6, to normally detect rotational speed of the cutter 2. The sequencer 6 is provided with a control circuit E constituted so that the number of revolution of a cutter motor M1 and the number of revolution of a feed motor M2 for feeding meat may be controlled to be slower from the detected rotational speed of the cutter 2.
