PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanking die device for a press capable of suppressing and further preventing scrap moving phenomenon onto the side of plate to be blanked caused when blanking a plate, manufacturing products of more excellent quality as compared with the conventional one, and preventing breakage of a punch and a die, and a press blanking method using the same. SOLUTION: In the press blanking device 10 having a punch 12 and a die 13 to blank a plate 11 to be blanked, the punch 12 is fixed during the blanking, and the die 13 is movable in the blanking direction of the plate 11. In the press blanking method using the device, the die 13 is moved toward the punch 12 fixed during the blanking, the plate 11 is blanked, and the die 13 is drawn out of the plate 11.
