<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine existence of abnormality in a parking brake mechanism for operating a parking brake utilizing a brake liquid pressure in a brake liquid pressure circuit for a common brake. <P>SOLUTION: In the common parking brake mechanism applied with the abnormality determination device, lock selector valves LCVr, LCVl are controlled/maintained in the closed state at non-control of PKB and during PKB release control and are controlled/maintained in the opened state only during PKB operation control. The abnormality determination device determines that "open failure" is generated on the lock selector valves LCVr, LCVl when at least one of lock switching liquid pressures Plockr, Plockl becomes a higher pressure than a predetermined low pressure at non-control of PKB and during PKB release control. The abnormality determination device determines that "close failure" is generated on the lock selector valves LCVr, LCVl and lights an alarm lamp when at least one of the lock switching liquid pressure Plockr, Plockl is maintained to a lower pressure than the predetermined low pressure during PKB operation control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
