PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid failure in acquisition of important data when a user is absent. SOLUTION: This storage device management system which manages a storage device in which storage areas are provided for every user is provided with an instruction acceptance part 38 which accepts an instruction that data should be stored together with specification of a storage area considered as its storage destination, a storage allowance determination part 37 which determines allowance of storage of the data in a storage area concerning its specification and a hard disk control part 35 which controls the storage device so that the data is stored in the storage area when it is determined that storage of the data in the storage area is allowed and controls the storage device so that storage location information indicating the current storage location of the data is stored in the storage area when it is determined that storage of the data in the storage area is not allowed.
