<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web processing machine having at least one additional function that can reduce the whole length of the processing machine. <P>SOLUTION: In the web processing machine 1, particularly a web coater has at least one evacuatable working area A, B, C, D through which a continuous web 2 passes during its processing. A unit C for continuously cutting the web in a longitudinal direction is provided directly in the evacuatable working area. The fully or partiallty processed web can thereby be cut longitudinally before wound up, so that the individual strips of the cut web can be fed to different reels without coming in contact with the surrounding environment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
