<p>A paint roller system with simple fitting and removal of the roller has a rod shaped axle with one end bent into a handle. The axle is fitted with a two part hub at one end, near to the handle, and with a fixed hub at the free end. The tubular roller is slid onto the hubs and the expanding hub is expanded simply by rotating the split outer sleeve (16) relative to the inner hub (15), with the twisting action limited by radial stops (24, 26, 19, 21), and with interacting cams to generate the radial expansion and contraction.</p> |
