PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of viewing and listening to a speech carried out via a digital broadcast receiver. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver 1 includes: a telephone transmission/reception section 41; a character conversion section 43; a management database (DB) 48; and an output section 49. The telephone transmission/reception section 41 transceives telephone voice via a telephone line 2. A voice recording reproducing section 47 records the telephone voice received from the telephone transmission/reception section 41. A character conversion section 43 converts the voice recorded by the voice recording reproducing section 47 into characters and stores the characters to the management DB 48.
