<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the energy and time for freezing and thawing of the frozen noodles, to enable the noodles after freezing to be easily taken out from a container and to reduce the unevenness of thawing of frozen noodles. <P>SOLUTION: A draining device 50 blows air from an air nozzle 72 to the noodles 100 in the freezing container 61 while moving the air nozzle 72 reciprocally. As a result, the water attached to the noodles 100 is blown away and simultaneously the noodles sticking to each other are separated from each other by the draining device 50.
