PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved television guide system which can identify multiple occurrences of a single program for users. SOLUTION: Multiple occurrences of the single program can be identified for users. For example, in many of today's digital satellite systems, specified movies are broadcasted on many channels with different start times. In the guide system, a user identifies a specific program and thereafter, the user can identify, when the identified specific program will be re-broadcasted.
