PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the flexibility of selection of a color during non-illumination, of a part where a light shielding layer covering a display member body surface doesn't exist, while uniformly illuminating with less variance of luminance by the existence of a light diffusing layer constituting a display member. SOLUTION: A front surface of a display member body 84 having a light-transmissive property is covered with a light shielding layer 86, so that a display part 85 where the light shielding layer 86 doesn't exist is lighted up on the front side when light is radiated to the display member body 84 from the rear side. The display member body 84 is a laminate of a light diffusing layer 87 having a light diffusing effect and a transparent layer 88 which is placed in the front side of this diffusing layer and has a higher degree of transparency than the light diffusing layer 87 and is colored in a specific color, and a color during non-illumination, of the display part 85 can be set by coloring of the transparent layer 88 while uniform illumination is attained by the light diffusing layer 87.
