PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel measuring instrument device imparting three-dimensional effect to a displayed form on a display panel, while contriving configuration of the display panel for the measuring instrument device to make visibility excellent. SOLUTION: In this measuring instrument device, a step difference part 9B protruded from a flat part of the display panel 9 is provided in the display panel 9 to be brought into the substantially same height to an indication part 5 of a pointer 4 along an area in an outer circumferential side of the indication part 5 of the pointer 4, a first scale part 8A constituting one portion of an index part 8 is provided on the step difference part 9B, and a second scale part 8B constituting one portion of the index part 8 is provided in a required portion of an area in the flat part 9a of the display panel 9.
