The frame (5) of the chest is assembled of two lateral panels (8) and a bottom panel fitted with four swivel mounted wheels (4). Several stationary rails (13) are positioned at the front (9) and the back (10) between the lateral panels (8) facilitating a lateral moving (HE) of a complementary number of drawers. Two top plates (17, 18) are slid to the sides or swiveled open. Each of the drawers can now be accessed from the top when it is moved away from the stack.
