摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink droplet discharging apparatus which can obtain a stable quality of recording images by making nearly constant a volume of discharge ink for one dot to be discharged from nozzles, regardless of an environmental temperature. SOLUTION: An actuator is equipped which makes ink droplets discharged from the nozzles by changing a volume of pressure chambers filled with the ink. A plurality of discharge pulse signals Pa are impressed to the actuator via an interval in response to a discharge command for one dot, whereby a plurality of the ink droplets are hit on almost the same position on a recording medium. At this time, a pulse width Ta and a pulse interval Wa of the discharge pulse signals Pa are set under a high-temperature environment to be within the range of nearly 0.6-0.9 AL<SB>H</SB>to a time AL<SB>H</SB>whereby a pressure wave propagates in one way in an ink passage which includes the pressure chambers under the high-temperature environment, and are set under a low-temperature environment to be within the range of nearly 0.9-1.4 AL<SB>L</SB>to a time AL<SB>L</SB>whereby the pressure wave propagates in one way in the ink passage which includes the pressure chambers under the low-temperature environment.
