PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable washing and drying machine capable of eliminating static electricity charged to laundry. SOLUTION: A metal plate 30a conducted to a metallic barrel plate part 3a and a metal plate 30b conducted to the spin-drying shaft 32 of the driving device 20 of a washing tub are abutted and arranged so as to provide a gap G for discharging at the voltage of the static electricity charged to the laundry.
