<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform operation of contacting and parting of a photoreceptor drum and a developing roller with good accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The process cartridge 7 attachable and detachable to and from an apparatus main body A provided with a cam member 8 capable of taking a first position and a second position retreated from the first position has a cleaning frame 51 which supports a photoreceptor drum 1, a developing frame 45 which supports a developing roller 40, an entering portion which is disposed on one end side of the developing frame 45 in the longitudinal direction of the photoreceptor drum 1 and into which at least a portion of the cam member 8 enters in the longitudinal direction and which is disposed downstream of the shaft 41e with respect to the mounting direction when the process cartridge 7 is mounted on the apparatus main body A, and a cam engaging portion which receives the force for parting the photoreceptor drum 1 and the developing roller 40 from the cam member 8 by abutting on the cam member 8 and is disposed downstream with respect to the entering portion when the cam member 8 exists in the first position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
