<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide guideline information in response to a game situation during the play by a real time. <P>SOLUTION: This information providing device 2 is equipped with a game registering means 8 which registers various kinds of games in advance, a guideline information registering means 10 which registers guideline information in response to various game situations being assumed during the games, a game distributing means 12 which distributes a specified game to a game player, a game situation controlling means 14 which controls the game situation during the game by the game player, and a guideline information providing means 16 which provides guideline information in response to the game situation to the game player by a specified timing.
