PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation which a user is required for deleting data in a data recorder. SOLUTION: In a chapter information display section 200A, the thumbnail pictures 201 to 209 of the first frame of each of chapter 1 to chapter 9 are displayed. In a menu display section 250, buttons 251 to 256 corresponding to respective 6 menus being "movement", "copy", "deletion", "odd chapter batch deletion", "even chapter batch deletion", and "editing completion" are displayed. When the odd chapter batch deletion menu is carried out, information stored in a management data storage area about chapters added with odd numbers is batch deleted.
