PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily create a motion picture file with audio from a motion picture source file and an audio source file which are present separately. SOLUTION: A motion picture source file Vi and an audio source file Ai desired to couple are selected to acquire image information Vx relating to an image size and a reproducing time of the motion picture source file Vi and audio information Ax relating to a reproducing time of the audio source file Ai, and based on the image information Vx and the audio information Ax, whether or not it is necessary to embed a black-out picture or a soundless part is discriminated. According to a result of the discrimination, the motion picture source file Vi and the audio source file Ai are processed in accordance with parameters determined for required embedding processing to the motion picture source file Vi or the audio source file Ai, so that a motion picture file with audio is created.
