<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting machine for enhancing productivity while reducing cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the surface mounting machine comprising a conveyor 4 for conveying a printed wiring board 3, and a head unit 5 for transferring a mounting component 9 from a tape feeder 7 to the printed wiring board 3, mounting sections A and B are arranged at two positions on the upstream side and downstream side in the conveying direction of the conveyor 4, and tape feeders 7A and 7B for feeding mounting components 9 are provided at sides of the mounting sections A and B. The tape feeder 7A feeds the mounting components 9 for the mounting section A and the tape feeder 7B feeds the mounting components 9 for the mounting section B. The operation of the head unit 5 is matched when the mounting components 9 of these tape feeders 7A and 7B are mounted on the printed wiring board 3 at the mounting section A and when they are mounted at the mounting section B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
