PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording and reproducing device which are able to record and reproduce contents over two or more recording media and to provide an information reproducing device. SOLUTION: The information recording and reproducing device capable of holding two or more recording media records link information among each recording medium when recording one content or two or more continuous or related contents over two or more recording media. The link information includes a group name showing that one or more contents recorded on the two or ore recording media are the same, continuous, or related contents, an end code showing the last recording medium of the two or more recording media for recording the contents of the same group name, and disk numbers showing the recording order of the contents of the same group name.
