<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage current from passing through a human body, eliminate the risk of electrification, and enhance safety. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a heating coil 101 which generates high frequency magnetic field and heats a heated object 110, an inverter circuit 102 which drives the heating coil 101, a shielding member 112 which is prepared in between the heated object 110 and the heating coil 101 and electrically connected to a low potential part, a heating coil holding member 124 which holds the heating coil 101, an annular shielding ring 131 which is made of a conductive material, prepared around the heating coil 101 on the heating coil holding member 124 and electrically connected to the low potential part. Since most of the leakage current from the heating coil 101 flows to the ground, through the shielding member 112 and the shield ring 131, the current is mostly prevented from passing through a user's body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
