PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air heater in which a cross flow fan can be precisely mounted at a preset position on a fan casing for surely preventing the generation of abnormal noises and the degradation of hot air delivering efficiency, when used. SOLUTION: A first closing member 21 and a second closing member 24 are provided in the fan casing 10 of a blowing means 8 for the hot air heater. The first closing member 21 has a first opening portion 25, and the second closing member 24 has a second opening portion 28. The first opening portion 25 allows the view of the position of one end of the cross flow fan 9 from the outside of the first closing member 21 and connecting work for a connecting member 19.
