<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hospital reception system for accepting an application of medical examination or prescription issuing through a communication line, capable of facilitating the application procedure to a hospital by a patient, and shortening the waiting time at the time of making an application to medical examination, for example, even if the application is made just before the medical examination. <P>SOLUTION: This hospital reception system 100 comprises a hospital reception server 10 connected to a patient terminal 30 held by a patient through the Internet 50. The patient terminal 30 comprises a data reading means reading data containing a patient ID and address information of the hospital reception server 10, which are recorded in a patient registration card 40; and a communication means transmitting the patient ID read by the data reading means to an address designated by the address information via the Internet 50.
